KnowNothing.Net Site Changes

It's been a while since I made any major changes to KnowNothing.Net. I decided it was time to start to add content to the website. The Investigative Reports are useful, however, they're near as useful as what I should be writing about. Some of the changes you might have noticed (which is good) where as others are quite noticeable.

1.) Design - The design, for the most part, has stayed the same. What I have changed is the menu on the left. To some the menu looks the same. That's a good thing because I designed the new menu to look that way. However, you may have noticed a new addition, Videos. When you put your mouse over the Videos you will notice the menu expands. I have changed the menu from a single layer navigation to a multilayer suckerfish menu.

2.) Functions - Previously there was no ability to register on the website. In addition the forum was a separate piece of software (SMF). I decided to change this as I have added some new features to the website.

  • Forum - The new forum is a Joomla-native system, Kunena.
  • Downloads - Recently I've gotten questions about all of those "Make Money At Home" schemes. I've uploaded some PDF ebooks that are free to download (must be registered).
  • Videos - I've added some videos from various websites that relate not only to topics for consumers but for people's rights as well. As I find more content I will be adding it. Registered users are able to post comments on the videos.

3.) Content - As I have already mentioned, some video content as well as PDF content has been added. Over the next few months I'll be publishing many articles relating to consumer law, scams, and other related topics.

Soon I'll be adding a private messaging function. Registered users will be able to send each other private messages.
